Our process is designed to ensure that every detail, from conception to execution, is seamless and memorable. Here’s what you can expect when you choose us as your wedding cake designer:
Getting Started
Once you fill out the inquiry form on the contact page, the fun begins. The first step is discussing your big day’s aesthetic so we can learn a bit about the look of your event and the experience you want for you and your guests. We will need some basic information about your wedding date and details about your preferred style, colors, textures, and flowers. Every detail matters to us, and we encourage you to express all your needs.
Crafting Your Proposal &
Securing Your Date
We will create a detailed proposal that aligns with your vision and budget, incorporating any specific styles, images, or ideas you have for your cake. We’ll collaborate closely with you through email to refine the design until you’re completely satisfied with the sketch. It’s important to discuss your guest count, cake portions, and budget to ensure everything fits your expectations. Once you’ve selected your flavor and approved the design, a non-refundable 25% deposit will be required to secure your date.
Tasting & Selection
At your tasting, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of our most popular cake combinations. You can select up to three flavors to sample at no additional cost. Please note that we do not ship tasting boxes to other states due to the sensitivity of our fillings to heat. If you have another tasting scheduled in the area before your wedding, we’re happy to coordinate the delivery directly to you. Additional tasting boxes are available for $75.
The Big Day
As your big day approaches, we typically arrive at the venue one hours before the ceremony. Please provide us with the contact information for planners, assistants, photographers, and a list of vendors. We value our relationships within the wedding industry and actively engage with our partners on social media and other platforms to ensure everything runs smoothly. Delivery and setup are integral and non-optional components of our service, ensuring meticulous care of our materials and a seamless experience for you.

We appreciate your interest in our business. To maintain our commitment to quality and craftsmanship, we have a minimum budget requirement for custom cake orders: $200 for cakes serving 20 people and $500 for wedding cakes. This baseline ensures that we can dedicate the time, expertise, and premium ingredients necessary to create a cake that truly captures the essence of your special day. We are committed to delivering an exceptional experience for our clients, and this minimum budget reflects the dedication and attention to detail that we bring to every project.

Dessert bars, packaged favors, and a variety of other treats are also available by pre-order with minimum quantities per dessert and per flavor. Feel free to inquire about these options using the contact form.
Essential Detail
We require at least two weeks’ notice for custom designs, which will be subject to our availability, especially for cakes with intricate themes. To avoid disappointment, please reach out as early as possible.
